What this site stores
We do not run our own analytics cookies or advertising trackers. The incident database is a public JSON file.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand site usage. This service collects anonymous page view data without cookies or personal identifiers.
What other services may see
Map tiles are loaded from Esri and CARTO CDNs. Those providers may see your IP address and standard browser request data.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.

If you send a correction report, you do not need a GitHub account. The site sends your report to GitHub on your behalf for review. GitHub stores the report text in a public issue on the worldwatcher repository, and GitHub's privacy terms apply to that stored data.
